Healthy Kids = Happy Parents
As a Board Certified Pediatrician and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at Omaha Childrens Clinic, P.C., I provide comprehensive care for newborns, infants, children and young adults. In addition to providing routine wellness checks and same-day sick care, my greatest area of interest is newborn and infant care. It gives me the greatest joy to bond with you and your baby during those first precious hours after the delivery and to start acting as an advocate for your child’s health until his or her adulthood.
I am motivated by a commitment to excellence in pediatric care that is sincere and compassionate and believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be healthy and happy. I value every child like my own and strive to provide care in a competent and nurturing environment. I strongly feel that good communication with parents, families, and the children is vital to the best health outcomes as well as successful relationships between doctors, patients, and parents or caregivers. I practice B.E.S.T. Pediatrics where I tell my patients they are the BEST....

Expecting Moms
I offer courtesy prenatal visits to meet personally with expecting parents to answer any questions and concerns as well as anticipatory guidance about the transition from pregnancy to delivery and beyond. If your child is born at the Methodist Women's Hospital, CHI Health Lakeside Hospital, CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital, or the Nebraska Medical Center, I will be there within 24 hours to meet and examine your new baby. After your baby is released from the hospital, your follow up visits will take place at my office location.

We also utilize an after hours triage service through St. Elizabeth Ann Triage Center. In either case, please call our main number (402) 330-5690 to get the help you need.
Kid's Symptom CheckerThis interactive tool may help you decide what level of care (if any) your sick child needs and how to provide symptom relief for minor illnesses and injuries you can manage on your own. Another great resource is the Pediatric Advisor. However, please keep in mind that these resources are in no way a substitute for a physical exam performed by a health care professional.

After Work, I Worry About YouWhen I get home after work, I think of you. I worry about your kids and I worry about you. Did that last bout of Strep keep you up to the point of exhaustion? Did that colic push you to the edge of insanity? Did your 2 year-old manage to overcome her addiction to shoving play dough up her nose? We are so fortunate to be living in the digital age so please, keep in touch with me. Send me a message and your "funnies of the day" on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+. They will make my day and they may help other parents get through their rough days as well. If you would like to write a guest blog or have a suggestion for a blog topic, please let me know.
